In case you missed it earlier here’s the entrance of Maureen O’Sullivan TD and George Lee TD into the Dáil Chamber this afternoon.

This is the Seventh in a series of posts looking at who would or would not keep their seats if an election was called now. With not much  local polling to go on this is entirely my opinion and probably wrong. If you have any ideas on it please drop a comment.
Dun Laoghaire

The Oireachtas has today launched a detailed profile based on the 2006 Census of all the constituencies in the country. The information is quite interesting and comprehensive and details all 42 constituencies in the country.

The RPA released a consulation document today on the feasibility of a new Luas line ‘E’ from Dundrum to Christchurch, covering Terenure and Harold’s Cross. Labour/Fine Gael/Green missed out by 7 seats. Where were these 7 seats that they could have won that would have won the election. Here is 3 seats that decided the outcome.

Which elects O Snodaigh and brings the SF total to 4 seats. Thanks to Wednesday in the comments.

Word from the count centre is that Catherine Byrne (FG) is going to be elected without reaching quota on the final count, which means that Aongus O’Snodaigh (SF) will shade it ahead of Eric Byrne (Lab), with just 67 votes between them.
Right now papers are being re-checked to make sure that none of Eric’s votes [...]

As above. Talleymen are only 60% on this though. It is still wide open

I have not received the latest count but it’s Eric Byrne fighting for the last seat again, this time against outgoing TD. Aengus O’Snodaigh.

I subscribe to The Phoenix magazine and received their ‘election special’ in the post this morning which, as you guessed, has a slightly heavier political slant than usual.
Their actual ‘election special’ section, however, was little more than an extended edition of the very hit-and-miss “satire” pages which grace every issue.
