Family Values

As Mick notes in the comments here, we have three siblings to join the brother-in-law/sister-in-law, husband/wife combinations elected to Dáil Eireann. Tom Kitt, Michael Kitt and Aine Brady (nee Kitt) are all elected to the 30th Dáil.

In laws elected to Dáil Eireann

Cork South Central - Kathleen Lynch is being joined by her brother-in-law Ciaran in the 30th Dáil. So that’s husband and wife and mother and son elected today.

Dublin South Central cliffhanger again?

I have not received the latest count but it’s Eric Byrne fighting for the last seat again, this time against outgoing TD. Aengus O’Snodaigh.

Live from the Teachers Club

All over to the Northside for pints and counts and the rest. A wake for Michael McDowell? Mary Harney for leader?

Fantasy Resignation Speeches

A new category here inspired by an email from Hag of Beara, we know there are a lot of you out there waiting in the long grass to write speeches for some of the TD’s to lose their seat.
But for our first speech, imagine the words of Liz O’Donnell thanks to HoB - if you [...]
