The Government’s claims that EU leaders agreed not to renegotiate the Fiscal Compact – due to be voted on on May 31st – have been met with silence from French and EU officials. German newspaper Suebdeutsche Zeitung claims that the French want to keep renegotiation on the table as a bargaining chip to gain German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s acceptance of Eurobonds.

“Hollande wants but does not seem to decide..” We all know what Hollande wants. He wants the Germans to bailout his profligate indiginous banks and so does Ireland, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, in short all those countries who thought invading Libya and destoying the country in order to rob its oil was a good idea. Maybe they thought that when Germany saw the destruction they could cause it would roll over and give them what they want. But it seems it is not working out as planned.
What Hollande should insist on is letting the fools pay for their folly.
