Moratorium busting webroundup

Read more about: Uncategorized, Web Roundup     Print This Post

Early noon webroundup with most of the moratorium busting pleas from our pols and a couple of decent blog posts to boot. Enjoy the fare, as Adams and Ganley and plenty of others beg for your vote.

Pat Cox is a notable former MEP whom Eoin Ryan was hoping would swing some support for him, god knows he needs it. He was busy though.

and then

No roundup is complete without Labour candidate Dermot Looney and to be fair his boast about the best online campaign has been largely borne out, as all his facebook followers will know from the consistent updates via email and the blog posts. Checking in under the radar for his pre-election pitch, here he is.

Eamon Gilmore wants your vote for Labour tomorrow.

Sinn Fein’s Gerry Adams was a bemused bystander as a week of drama unfolded around whether Fine Gael would talk to them, lets see what he has to say to potential voters…

The oldest candidate we have seen on youtube is Labour’s John Gallagher. This is an excellent video – fair play to him he doesn’t even poster.

Who knew a way back at the start of the campaign that Simon Harris would prove such a hit. Following his time engaging with Suzy, he is a bit of a hit round these parts. Here is his last minute video pitch.

A late entrant to the moratorium video collection is Joe Higgins who also did a great blogger meeting which would be ideal to replicate in future campaigns. The man on a mission to take that third seat could well cause issues for Eoin Ryan.

Fresh from their ridiculous carry on with the Weisenthal Institute, the Chairman wants your vote (and as you read here the Mayo News think he will get it).

Other candidates are also very busy, as Lexia brings us Paschal Donohue’s tweet on getting a kick in the behind from Enda Kenny. Paschal himself is taking nothing for granted before election day.

Former ANC man Patrick Maphoso wants your vote.

It was around problem number two of this post over on the Fianna Fail blog that my head almost exploded. Read them and see if you can tell why.

Seems like every one of the “important issues facing the people of Bailieborough” are FF made (or not made as the case may be) issues, yet she’s a FF candidate!

as brass neck goes it surely takes some beating in my estimation. Rubbing people’s noses in the failures of a government while looking for their vote….hmmm.
