Update: via Declan Ganley is to step down from leading Libertas and bow out of public life according to reports at the count in Castlebar. He will no lead the Lisbon II campaign either.

From the live blog, Ganley’s wheelie bin recount loses him 3,000 votes.

New NW counts (original in brackets):

Gallagher: 82643 (82643)
Ganley: 67,638 (70,638)
Harkin: 84,813 (84,813)
Higgins: 80,093 (80,093)

    I made it.

    Its a reguler internet meme and someone had done one for Brian Cowen when Lisbon got rejected, so I thought a response was needed for Declans disastrous election result.

    the video was made before Ganley’s own results were final, it mainly refers to libertas as a whole being a disaster, only 1 candidate out of 600 got elected and when that candidate was able to get 3 seats before joining libertas I would consider it a disaster.
