Apart from potentially riling or humouring Cork fans travelling to Thurles with his cheeky posters, he scored hugely with the Tipp win. In the immediate post match interview with Tipp manager Liam Sheedy on RTE, Sheedy finished up by wishing Alan Kelly the best of luck in this weeks elections!
