You’re with which party? Loyalty to the max from Marian Farrell Moore

We have had previous installments of those who are hiding their Fianna Fail logo. Brian Cowen thinks they are losers but hopes they win. Marian Farrell Moore, Fianna Fail candidate in Sligo/Leitrim is proud of her party. So proud she displays her party membership card in her posters. Thats not an FF membership card, they don’t have pictures on them. It must be one of her own election leaflets.

@daithi Whether it’s an ID card or a publicity leaflet doesn’t really matter. It’s still very strange, isn’t it, no matter what it is?

What really matters is why would you hold something in your hand with a photo of you on it, when getting your photo taken, especially for a poster that’s going to be seen by thousands of people?

As Daithi said it’s a leaflet rather than the membership card, it’s certainly different – I suppose that makes the poster a success, difficult to be different from the pack when there’s posters of grinning candidates everywhere but at least this may get her poster noticed that little bit more.

I don’t know the woman at all, and have nothing personally against her (her party, perhaps, but not her). As Conor said, I think she comes across as “different from the pack”, but not necessarily in a good way!
