The Tag Rugby Canvass

Reports reached me over the weekend of sightings of tag rugby games by canvassers in various parks in the South East Dublin area.  The story went that canvassers went from park to park in t-shirts playing matches and there were posters about and much merriment.   No match reports or sightings of new players emerging to replace the soon to be departed Contemponi.

However Eoghan Murphy himself is blogging his campaign and tells here about the activities of last weekend which included exercising in the pub crawl elbow bending way on Friday night.

I wonder what matches Eoghan has planned this weekend – is there a fixtures list? Would he like it broadcast live on qik? Selling the rights to anyone? The transfer window possibilities are endless! If there are cutout mascots we could send our correspondent or indeed there are some news/politics bloggers who also work as sports reporters!

Any table tennis or soccer playing canvassing teams? Eoghan’s blog has further  shots of the canvass by the way and I look forward to hearing about more innovative canvassing techniques over the coming days.
