Bizarre email from micandidate today telling me that;

“From newspapers to radio, to youth organisations, to elderly organisations, to religious organisations, to voter mobilisation campaigns, to the European Parliament, to sports clubs, all are using MiCandidate as the definitive resource to help their users find out.”

I was particularly interested in the sports club reference. As a League of Ireland fan (St Pat’s) I found it curious to see “Bohemian Football Club” in the shortlist of organisations procided so I clicked the link provided.

It turns out that a link to micandidate.eu was posted halfway through a short thread on the local elections on an unofficial fans forum! The link points to http://www.thebohs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10549&highlight=micandidate – this is their sports club endorsement?

If they’re stretching the truth this far the elastic must be very freyed indeed.
