My surname is spelt wrong on mine. It is in fact a different name. No problem, they accepted it anyway. I asked them to change it. They didn’t. Same wrong name again this time around.

I’ve been trying since I-can’t-remember-when to ensure that I’m on the register. Online – didn’t work. ..I think.. Sending the registration form available on the local authority’s website – didn’t work. ..I think.. I can’t check the online register because even when I was absolutely certain in the past that I was on it, the online register said I wasn’t.

Will have to keep an eye out for my polling card(s). Otherwise, can someone cast their extra votes on my behalf? That’d be great, ta.

I know that people on the border of Dublin and Wicklow always get 2 – 1 for Dun Laoghaire Rathdown and another Wicklow
