Anyone Else think that George Lee is a bit Narky?

Have a listen to Pat Kenny from this morning and Vincent Browne (2, 3) from last night. He might need to tone down what comes across as a narky, smug candidate. It may be just me who picked it up though.

He does come across as a little above question. On Vinny B the other night he was looking at Vinny like “ah come on, I know what ye’re at, don’t ask me that…”

I think he thought he would be hailed as the saviour and instead has found himself bogged down at the start of every interview in questions about when his campaign picture was taken compared with when he made his last RTE broadcast. By the time the interview moves onto policy issues he is already narky and then discovers he has to talk about issues where he doesn’t know what the Fine Gael party line is.

He’s still going to win the seat though.

A little more humility wouldn’t go amiss. The air in Montrose though seems to do that to pople – they actually think they are important and a tad above the rest of us. Alex White can’t be helping George’s humour either, especially when he starts every sentence with a patronising : “In politics, George….”

He’ll come down to earth. Six months of FG parliamentary party meetings and Mcihael Ring should do wonders for his ego.
