SBPost Poll Tomorrow

Read more about: Polls     Print This Post

Results, courtesy of Neil:

  • Fianna Fáil 23%  (-5)
  • Fine Gael 33% (+2)
  • Labour Party 19% (+2)
  • Green Party 7% (n/c)
  • Sinn Féin 8% (+1)
  • Independents/others 10%

That poll would have been taken on Monday and Tuesday.

As always, you get the results first here on IrishElection.com!

Update:

RTÉ now has more on this.  When asked how they would vote in the Local & Euro elections, the results were mostly the same, although Fine Gael suffered a little in the Locals to the benefit of Independent candidates.

In the Euros, Libertas managed to poll just 2%, which must make it very unlikely they’ll even challenge for any of the seats.

Very interesting numbers FGs numbers seem very secure now. And Labour are climbing. Green Party seem solid as well. Which may worry FF

I think the better question might be if this drives certain high Government officials further into despair or perhaps the bottle…. The nail on sunday seems to be ready to drop that axe tomorrow. This poll and that axe might well mean game over.

Coc – take a read of this thread over at politics.ie and read between the lines. Then add McGuinness’s performance on the Late Late and stir with Sean O’Neachtain’s sudden exit from the Euro’s, to provide a rather heady cocktail that is doing the rounds within the Government.

Ah yes, I see the thread on bolitics.ie (where bollixes rant about politics) speculating that someone is a wife beating drunk. So tell us, who hasn’t stopped beating their wives yet?

I’m reading furiously between the lines but still see no indication of who is the supposed drunk. It can wait till tomorrow morning I suppose.
