The Powers that be Want Action Taken

So said The Gardai when they went into the Ray D’Arcy show office to find out who the artist was that put up the nude pictures of Brian Cowen in the National Gallery. Now the story was a bit embarrasing to Brian Cowen and I can image that he would be not to happy about the picture hey I would be too. But it was a story that would just amuse people, he should have laughed it off.

Commented that it was wrong as he wears boxers and not Y-Fronts. This guy is supposed to have a sense of humour he could have displayed it. It could have actually given him a boost in the poll. Indeed people would have been sympathetic to him as it was a cheap shot. There is caricatures in the papers every day. Anyway it would have simply died as a story.

Now it has legs, now it has a Gate after it. The fact that not only have Fianna Fail force RTE to apologize and sent the Gardai into Today FM is going to backfire massively and lead to more serious allegations and comparisons to Haughey era. Most of all it is now a story that is going to last. With the third picture that Ray D’Arcy claims to have becoming the front page picture in one of the news papers when a paper inevitable gets it. Also what Judge would not throw this case out or fine the Artist the price of polyfiller to fill the nail holes.
