Ivor Callely’s Ideas Campaign

Ivor Callely, Fianna Fail Senator and former TD, has come up with what looks like a rival to the ideas campaign, we hear today.

The choices we make now in our business, and as a society, will have a profound effect on how we can pull ourselves out of this crisis, according to Dublin Senator Ivor Callely, who has organised a business forum to discuss effective ways to deal with the current economic climate.

The forum, entitled IC Business Forum (Ivor Callely Business Forum), will commence at 5.45pm on Thursday, 12 March in Clontarf Castle and will focus on clever initiatives that need to be taken by businesses in Ireland in order to survive the recession come out in a stronger, more prosperous position.

“I felt there was a niche for a forum in which small and medium businesses can come together and focus on the opportunities available at this time, rather than dwell on the constant ‘doom and gloom’ attitude creeping into our communities and dominating our media outlets.”

A number of successful business people and young entrepreneurs will make presentations and speak at the event, which will be followed by a serious of questions tabled from representatives of over 200 businesses around Dublin.

“Our panel of experts will be focusing on ways to not only weather the current storm, but to get us moving along the road we successfully travelled in the past,” continued Senator Callely.

Unmissable by the looks of it, will anyone be heading along? Would you mind twittering #ICBF

Cian, this sounds familiar. I seem to recall Ivor organise forums or gatherings last year too. Will have to look into it.
