Michael Kennedy is a Plonker

Read more about: Blogging, Dublin North, Fianna Fail

REd Mum has the post on Michael Kennedy TD at the pensioner protest on Wednesday.

He spoke of the money given to single parents and their ‘10 kids’ and, get this, ‘FREE HOUSES’. (They are actual quotes.) Seriously my daughter is 16 years old now and he is saying there are free houses, given what I said before about the trouble I have had getting onto the property ladder; I have missed out on these free houses. So where can I sign up?…

I found myself doing something I don’t normally do, I went after him asking for my free house; I couldn’t help myself. He needed to be pulled up on this disgraceful rant. You were heard Michael and shame on you. I

Disgraceful, backwards, intolerant and utterly disrespectful. The guy is – to borrow a phrase – “a thundering disgrace”.

Ah yes, Michael Kennedy of Dublin North, and class A FF backwoodsman.
A protégé of one Raphael (Ray) Burke, I believe.

I have often wondered why we are never given statistics for the number of people who benefit from renting accommodation which is paid for from public coffers including HSE social welfare etc. I’d say we’d be shocked if we knew the extent of it. I think the tent at the Galway races covers more than the developers.

EddieL, I believe that information is in the public domain. Both the number of people involved and the cost. The real surprise is that we don’t do the cost effective thing and build more social housing rather than paying such sums to the private rental sector.

Was promised by Michael Kennedy (when he was touting for votes) he would support us, Drynam Hall, in dealing with Management Company, KPM. He got his votes and have never seen him since. Now he is worried about Brian Cowans image been tarnished by a painting – who does he think he is, he is low life. Remember do not vote for him, do not beleive him. Why do we vote these thicks in, we don’t have many options but he is the bottom of the barrell, maybe the dye has affected his brain cells.

Heard him on Today FM on 25/03/09. I’m embarassed that he’s an elected represent of my constituency. I didn’t vote for him and never will.
