A fair point simon but they are willing to provide space for the event and facilitate our debate. It is something that they can learn from and it doesnt mean EU debate here on the site will be stifled.

It is an issue of pragmatism more than anything else - most people who are approached to sponsor this run a mile from political events. This time round it was the other way the approach was made - making organising more straight forward for the conference itself.

We have all written stuff critical of the EU and i dont think that this will stop us.

Why is this so obviously linked to the EU? Surely we would want to be considered an independent voice away from any influence?

I threw me name down yesterday but there appears to be no acknowledgement mechanism and I was just wondering if it might be worth doing that so people don't end up registering multiple times via different means. Just a thought.

Kudos on the effort again.
