Blogging and Social Media Conference

Read more about: irishblogcon     Print This Post

Before lunch at the conference on October 4 we will be hearing from a number of people active in the NGO sector on the role of the internet and social media in their work and activism. Our own Damian O Broin from askdirect will be along to talk about his work and we are working on representation from Reporters Sans Frontiers.

As the agenda is still quite flexible, let me know in comments or via email if there is something you would like to see or hear about. We are working on streaming and making it live online so hopefully those who cannot attend will still get involved.

Keynote will be from Zack Exley but your going to have to register – places are limited. If you do register expect an email in the coming days confirming attendence with you – but not straight away.

Is it DEFINITELY only open to bloggers?

Hi Ian, like last time its open to anyone who is interested in the topic but if and when numbers get tight preference will be given to bloggers who registered to attend.
