Not a phrase I find myself uttering that often, but publishing the consolidated Treaty (as I understand it) tomorrow in the Sunday Times is a masterstroke. Whether folks read it or not, it raises awareness it exists and could influence votes. Though none of us impune any motives to editorial teams at News International, the boss will be happy if most respond that it is unreadable.

I might have missed it with the rubbish without seeing it mentioned here, I rushed off and rustled through the discarded sections and while I was entranced by the preamble I quickly skipped to the end and you know they really do reveal who the final cylon is.
i was disappointed it was only the Lisbon treaty itself – known to be unreadable and not a consolidated version. I dont think publising the consolidated version would prompt a massive yes vote, its still going to be leagaese but i wonder what purpose at all is served by only publishing the Lisbon treaty. (though I think we can guess)
