I am not the biggest fan of John Gormley but that does not mean I will not say he has done well. In his carbon budget one of the policies is to
develop a national energy efficiency standard for lightbulbs, which will see an end to the use of incandescent bulbs by January 2009.
I have always [...]

Further deterioration today in the Dail relationship between Bertie Ahern and Eamon Gilmore (Bertie: “Is Deputy Gilmore deaf as well as stupid?”). 65% of businesses cite the adverse impact of transport infrastrcuture in doing business in Ireland. Good thing we have the NDP. Bad thing its so late. Business overwhelmingly wants improved roads but only 22% want rail improvements.

Ahern denies backing Dublin casino plan
I think that the more this goes on the more I am tending to agree with Mick Clifford in the Trib that Bertie’s strategy is all spin-he didnt challenge any testimony from NCB in Mahon and now the same tactic of using doorsteps to answer Hynes.

It was greeted with shock last week when it was “revealed” that Albert Reynolds stopped of in the Bahamas and how no one knew this. How it all seems a bit of cloak and dagger. And the way RTE put it.
In a statement this evening, the Fianna Fáil TD, Martin Mansergh, who was a [...]
