You&#039;re right. But these &quot;progressive&quot; types are hardly alone. In fact, with the exception of the PDs, every party in Ireland, and indeed in Britain, have tended to ignore Sinn Fein&#039;s past when it suits their more immediate goals.

As for Bobby Sands having streets named after him, he already does, in Tehran. 

What I can&#039;t understand is how Sinners can manage the kind of double-think that allows them condemn the killing of unarmed soldiers (not to mention civilians) under any circumstance except when the killing was carried out by the IRA.  Then the matter becomes &quot;complicated&quot;.</description>
