Up to 900 jobs are to be shed over the next two years at Xerox in Blanchardstown in west Dublin, following a review of the company’s operations in Ireland. The employees, who mainly work in a customer support call centre for Xerox clients, are to be transferred to a global services division within IBM from September.
So is this 900 hundred jobs lost or 900 people moving to IBM not really sure?

The loss of high end jobs to Scotland is bound to worry those who keep an eye on the IDA and jobs since the new administration in Scotland will be a clear leader in the moves up North. The loss of high end jobs, to western Europe is a big black mark against Government policy and also government action on cheap costs and its primary mover, cheap credit.
