Web Round up – Day 25 + 4

My name is Maman Poulet and I’m a recovering election blogger. It’s been a few days since my last blogging round up, and the politician bloggers are still blogging so I thought I’d round them up for ye.

Joan Burton had fish, chips and left over chablis to celebrate her re-election on Friday, she avoided the count like many other candidates. Unlike the cinema going kind, Joan went for a swim. Dominic posts about losing, check out the comments from some voters.

The victor in Meath East, Thomas Byrne, makes a thank you post of epic proportions, and pays a compliment to his opponent hoping that they can work together in the future. The Blogging Minister Noel Dempsey posts pictures but no words, spot one of this campaign’s internet stars. Eric Byrne thanks his voters, he was 69 votes short in the end and you can tell he’s gutted. But for the moment he needs people to help him find any rogue posters.

Mark Hennessy is watching Questions and Answers just like I am and yes Finian is being very cautious about the tribunal, phone calls are being made! Actually read all of Mark’s post – it raises very interesting points about the goings on in the Mahon Tribunal this afternoon.

I have a feeling that we could be blogging and rounding up politics, tribunals, political mating games, special delegate conferences for a few weeks to come. No need for recovery so.
