FF 36% (+2)
FG: 28% (-3)
Labour: 13% (+3)
Sinn Fein: 10% -
Green: 5% (-1)
PD: 2% (-1)
Independent/SP: 6%







first response to this is that i am delighted to see miriam decided to hijack a discussion between Brennan and McGuinness on the different views of their leaders on the nurses in order to talk about the bloody poll.

The publication of this poll is a bit of a knock for the PDs.
One stat, which might not get much attention, pertains to satisfaction with leaders. For McDowell the dissatified figure is 50% with the no opinion at 16%.
Two out of every three respondents would not express satisfaction with the person Fianna Fail wants to put back in cabinet.
George Bush is less popular than Michael McDowell, but at least he can claim to have a mandate.
