I always like a good rumour. Rock of Cashel on Politics.ie aka Sinn Fein’s South Tipperary candidate posted this.
I know I’ll probably get jumped upon from an absolute height this week, but I was given a tip off earlier today, that an absolutely huge story was about to break, that could lead to Enda Kenny resigning even before the election.
No real details, something about Tribunals. Probably bit of FF wishful thinking or you never know but this comment made me laugh
So we could have the spectacle of the two main Party leaders resigning in the same week? Perhaps they could do a joint announcement on the Prime Time Special next Thursday night?
If its true (probably not!) – goodbye Enda and don’t come back!

While I’ve no love for Enda, if he were to go, it would probably mean that FF get back into government. Which I don’t really want to see. At least not with Bertie as leader. It sounds like this will most likely turn out to be rubbish. There may well be a story, but it will probably turn out to be a hot steaming pile of bullshit.
Kenny hasn’t got the depth of character to be a crook. Anyway even if he was it would only help him. Hasn’t hurt Bertie and whatever Enda & Bertie got up to it’s small time stuff compared to Adams and Sinn Fein IRA.
Just can’t see Kenny having the balls to every do anything dodgy.
Since when is “not having the balls to do anything dodgy” a NEGATIVE quality in a political leader?!
