McDowell Resigns! A Great Night For Humanity

Read more about: Uncategorized     Print This Post

People of Ireland, today is a great day for men and women everywhere.

We have rid ourselves of the beast they called McDowell. It is more than we could have hoped for. Not only has he lost his seat, not only has he lost the PD leadership, but he has also resigned from public life! The man who would be king now re-joins the masses. He is a mere mortal. Just like the rest of us. Only evil.

The victory was hard won, but it was worth it.

Blessed be God!

I admit that I’m not an objective observer, but Michael McDowell deserves none of the criticism directed at him. He has been fearless in opposing organised crime and paramilitarism. Would you prefer Mary O’Rourke facing John Gilligan? The man was a decent and honest public servant; if anything he wasn’t interested in politics enough to soft-talk the electorate. His concession speech was gracious and sincere. He loves his country (Ireland) more perhaps than re-election.

What a relief to see him pull out of politics altogether.

Are the SWP really on course for a seat? Sitting here in London…someone let me know…

And how is Dublin North West looking?

Talk about showing ignorance. Taking cheap shots against the man like that. I would not vote PD but I would definitely vote for a man with the integrity of Michael McDowell. Look up integrity in a dictionary because you obviously have none.

Just as good is the defeat of Joe Higgins. Both men were equally out of touch with modern Ireland.
