With the latest polls showing that the Greens maybe the most likly source of a coalition for Fianna Fail. Fianna Fail’s Dublin South West candidate Charlie O’Connor has appealed to their health and fitness wing.

“I’m doing an average of ten to twelve functions a night, after a day’s canvassing and I can feel the weight dropping off. I’ve lost over a stone in the last month.” “I suppose it’s a mixture of nervous energy and constant exercise. I haven’t changed my diet at all but I can definitely feel a difference and my constituents are noticing it too.” “The G.I (glycemic index) diet works on the premise that there are certain foods you can eat that leave you with a feeling of fullness for longer.” “I’m nearing the end of my campaign and I’m working extremely hard so that my ‘G.E diet’ will leave me with a similar “feeling of fullness” long after May 24th!”, concluded O’Connor.

But should we be celebrating such crash diets. Charlie you are beautiful just the way you are don’t let those nasty skinny greens get at you. They smell of cabbage.
