Dissention in the ranks

Read more about: Fianna Fail, Mayo     Print This Post

Whilst looking for something completely different on Google news, I came across this:

Cllr Frank Chambers, Fianna Fail candidate, said that Mayo students in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway would struggle to make it home.

They are now in “limbo land” over their chances of getting home to vote, he said, and “every effort should be made to accommodate Mayo students living away from home”.

It would seem that not all in Fianna Fail are supportive of Thursday voting.

Bert is a man possessed. he does his own thing. Completely nuts of course and some far flung TDs may regret it becuase students aren’t all that anti-FF. Around 33% of them vote FF so what the worry? Indeed they could be needed.

The solution for these students who need to vote away from home is to get on the Supplementary Register (RFA2 form) which can be done up to 11 days before polling.
