Deenihan ‘Storming Ahead’ in Kerry North

Update: Foley said to be polling well, may challenge McEllistrim for final seat. Depending on Labour transfers

Early doors in Kerry North, Tralee and some North Kerry boxes open with Fine Gael’s Jimmy Deenihan ‘storming ahead’ on first preferences. It seems likely that he will top the poll. Ferris and McEllistrim polling well likely to take second and third seats but nervousness over transfers. Labour’s hopeful Terry O Brien disappointed wit the level of #1s coming from his Tralee base. Was hoping for nearly 50%-100% more.
