We needed Boyd-Barrett to be in. Not for his politics. Just because he stood up for really important things in our area and won. Mr. Cuffe, you had better be REALLY good.
I really wanted Boyd Barrett in, but Cuffe was my number two. He is very good, who has also stood up for the same things as RBB, so I am pleased about that. But a result of 7k votes is quite impressive!
Shame about RBB- gave him my number two- but there is a left wing politic emerging in DL and it needs to be built on- with strategic alliances made and a focus placed on getting people like RBB and Eoin O Broin into the council.
