Ahh, that Sean South of Garryowen

Willie O’Dea has been long been known as the intellectual power house of Irish Politics with his Samsonite Mustache so this story is of course a surprise. The Limerick Blogger points me to this story. Seemingly, Willie pulled out of a book launch when he found out the book was about Sean South, the IRA terrorist from the 1950s. Willie, it seems, felt duped as the title of the book Sean South of Garryowen suggested that the book was not about Sean South of Garryowen. I have to wonder, did he even know the name of the book he was going to launch and if not, how many politicians go to things without knowing what the thing is?

Cullen and Roche do this sort of thing all the time.

Really? and what is this now? A road, you say, God isn’t that great altogether? We should have more of them, that go around places and through some other places. And we could make some that go in the sky call them…hmm..sky roads.

    Did someone say iron horse?
