WCBD: What Can Bloggers Do?

In light of yesterday’s proceedings at the Irish Bloggers Conference, there is some active consideration of how blogs can begin to take political action a step further. With regards to blogging the election, I am looking for some input. While I have ideas and projects in the works, I want to nail down some form of coverage in the next few months. Irishelection.com will always be a portal to other blogs, we thrive on what our contributing bloggers write for their own sites.

In light of yesterday and discussions from Guido and the blogging politicians, though, I am convinced we can play a role in all of the rigmarole of next May. What I want to know is what you think such a role should be and, more importantly, how we can actually get bloggers out there. I have some stuff lined up but what do bloggers want to do to cover (and/or influence) the next election?
