We’re looking for volunteers to help out at the “Blogging the Election” conference. We will need volunteers for the following:
Setting up:
Chairs and tables and AV stuff. We need to be in the Digital Hub around 9am to do this.
Room supervisors:
People to make sure everything is going smoothly and to address the needs of the audience. Also we’d like these people to encourage discussion by asking questions if everyone suddenly becomes shy.
Registering:
We need people at the door to register people and take the entrance fee.
Catering:
Help with tea and coffee and biscuits and lunch. Make sure everyone gets their coffee and chocolate fix. (Simon might make cheesecake for the day)
Cleanup:
Post-event clean up and making sure everything is the same as we left it.
Content creation:
Photographers, podcasters, video takers, etc. We’d love if people could come along and interview the audience and the speakers and then distribute this content online during or after the event.
If you’d like to help out then leave your name in the comments below. If you haven’t registered for the event yet, then please go here and do so.
