Ryan and Greens Committed to Government

The uneasiness that seemed evident last week (not with government itself rather the contortions positions its forces them into) is set to go on. Eamon Ryan was door stepped this morning and has again committed the Greens to seeing this whole government thing through.
No doubt they are a little disappointed that Gormley’s raising of litter fines has been overshadowed by Enda Kenny ramping up the rhetoric on Bertie Ahern saying;
“We have a Taoiseach, a head of government, who can’t explain why very substantial monies went through his accounts, backed up with blind allegiance from Minister after Minister, from his own party, the Greens and PDs,” Mr Kenny told RTÉ radio. The message this sends out does down every politician, every person in public life, and does down the country.”
And the Mail report that Kenny has suggested Ahern has ‘lost the moral authority to lead’.
