Read more about: Blogging, Conferences, Irish Election

Politics website IrishElection.com with the support of political commentator Mick Fealty from website SluggerOToole.com, campaigner Suzy Byrne from MamanPoulet.com and Internet lobbyist Damien Mulley are pleased to announce the inagural Conference on Blogging and Politics.

The conference is due to be held in Dublin on October 7. “Blogging the Election” is being billed as an informal meeting and discussion on how new Internet tools like blogging can help and influence the very traditional political process in Ireland.

Special Guest Speakers are being lined up alongside sessions for discussion among ourselves about the issues affecting blogging in ireland, politics in ireland and the general relationship of the two.

We want everyone to attend, bloggers, readers, those who are interested in politics generally, Party people, media people and all others in between.

The Conference has its own page at irishelection.com (the ‘blogger conference’ button at the top of the page) which will be constantly updated with details between now and October 7.

Right now we want as many as possible to let us know if they are interested in attending.
