Is there a “welcome to the global economy, Shannon” petition too?

Signatory number 7501 is a person by the name of Michael O’Leary, who has assured the other 7,500 signatories that they have the full support of one 25% shareholder.

O’Leary’s playing a blinder but no-one should be confused as to why.

He doesn’t want them to move to Belfast because it will mean bigger profit margins and more financial muscle to take on Ryanair at their own game on other routes.

If he were in control he’d probably have done something similar himself - he made it quite clear he wanted to cut the fat and maximise profits there.

Might be better than printing flyers, it goes to show how parties, if they take it seriously, need to keep ahead of the wave - not just follow.
