Gilmore targets 30 seats for Labour this is what this got me thinking of.

    I don’t think it’s fantasy but it takes more than just saying “we’re aiming for 30 seats”.

    Michael McDowell said he was aiming for 14 seats when he took over and most people guffawed - most people ended up being right to.

    Gilmore perfectly highlights the two biggest problems with the labour party…no imagination and no commitment. Even when they talk fairytale stuff they can’t quiet bring themselves to dream. I mean if you’re going to start talking “pie in the sky” stuff why limit yourself to 30 seats? If you’re going to dream at least commit to it and say that you’re going to win an overall majority.

    How many children dream of sitting on the bench during an All Ireland Final?
