Sinn Fein not supporting Irish Indigenous Enterprise.

Read more about: Sinn Féin

Just messing with whois on linux and I found out that Sinn Fein’s website is stored on an American companies server. So much for Sinn Fein supporting Irish Indigenous Enterprise.

Labour’s site is hosted by an english company with staff in Ireland and Fianna Fail, Fine Gael, the Green Party and Progressive Democrats websites are all hosted on Irish hosts. (Blacknight Weblink rack365.ie   tibus )

But if Labour party are guilty of the same crime, why did sinn fein get the headline?

incidentily, The Limerick Republican Information Service is hosted on a british company’s servers, UTV internet.

Well the company that hosts Labours has offices in Ireland I believe so the serve may actually be in Ireland and employing Irish people.
The Sinn Fein server is in America with no connection I can find to Ireland. At least the Labour one could be said to be supporting Irish jobs. Also the Sinn Fein Website system is maintained by a guy in West virginea. The system can be seen at http://www.phoenix2016.com

I have a feeling that Anu (which hosts Labour’s site) is an Irish company, based in Westport I think. They are about for years.

My own website is hosted in the UK; it’s hosted on a virtual account on a dedicated server I have for work.

I just went by the address ANU Internet Services Ltd, St Brandon’s House, 29 Great George St, Bristol BS1 5QT, UK.

But maybe the server is in Westport.

Not sure about the actual server, but I’m 99% certain that Anu was a Mayo company before anything else.

A geolocate on the IP for the server is telling me it’s based in Holland:

I made a post about the ‘Daily Ireland’ and this practice a while back. For the record they still haven’t replied to my letter.

Very good dave. I would love to see Sinn Fein take a question on this coming up to the election. Not practing what they preech and all. Indeed if they ever take questions for irish election . I better remember to include this

Sure didn’t they use Czech explosives, Russian guns and eastern european grenade launchers? :) In fairness, all this bullshit about buying Irish is nonsense. Who cares where their servers are? If Irish hosting companies fail to make a sale, that’s their tough.
