Stephen and myself assumed that things would close up around the midnight make, so I went East after the Cork East count. I heard (live) Dan Boyle being eliminated on the radio home. Shocked silence decended the count centre as the safest of seats was pulled away. All the Cork counts ended in the early hours of Saturday so there’s no more reporting from the Cork counts.
