Why Vote? Why Vote Labour? Interviews From the Parties, Ruairi Quinn

A word before we begin to publish these interviews. It is a matter for parties and candidates who gets put up here. We contacted all parties, asked for two people. Sometimes we went to candidates with a web presence and doubly asked. The result is likely to be a mixed picture on parties (likely reflecting their busyness and their desire to speak to bloggers and web people. The idea that was put to parties was to give voters a last chance to decide their vote on the one platform and in the one place (and the only place) they can the day before the campaign. We hope to post every thirty minutes so check back regularly for updates. Thanks to parties, TDs, Damien and Adam for this.

If your TD wants to talk to us, email irishelection <at> gmail.com. We can do and record interviews over the phone.

First up was Ruairi Quinn TD for Labour in Dublin South East. Caught up with him this morning for an interview. Trying to get some insight into the constituency, the campaign so far and the reason to vote labour.
