In true News of the World fashion, it is safe to call the Green Party press release a ‘come and get me plea’. The Greens issued a short and sweet statement as follows;

Following meetings with Fine Gael and Labour, the Green Party is awaiting a response on the viability of an alternative Government. Trevor Sargent TD, Leader of the Green Party , has spoken with Enda Kenny on several occasions recently and has also sought a meeting with Pat Rabbitte.

“The real issue for Enda Kenny is whether he can persuade the two PDs to support him. The Green Party awaits developments in this regard, as the formation of an alternative to Fianna Fáil in Government depends on an early outcome to this question”, said Mr Sargent.

    Cian,

    Check which press person sent it, it’s much more important that it at first appears!
