Pioneering Inaction

The problem of young people taking drugs is serious and needs good idea’s to solve. Alas the idea’s we get are well frankly crap. We had Enda Kenny’s Drug testing children now we have give them a pin. Now we in Ireland Pioneers for over 100 years and been to pretty much every school in the country. And as anyone who has ever been out on a Saturday in an Irish town can clearly testify to it’s major success. I mean without it we would probably top of Europe for binge drinkers as opposed ……….. to well top. Telling kids not to drink and given them a badge is not going to make them not drink. They are just not going to drink. If the kid is not going to drink the presence of a pin is not going to change that fact. Same to with drugs. Giving kids pins is not going to remotely tackle the problems. Come on can’t we get some serious solutions for a change not just this bull.
