Lisbon - The nuts and bolts

Read more about: Lisbon Treaty

There are a few people blogging out there on the Lisbon Treaty and the referendum, but there is - to my knowledge - only one person going through it forensically - Ralf Grahn, a Finnish lawyer. While I wouldn’t be in accord with all of his views, his work on this is first rate and anyone taking an interest in the Treaty should definitely take a look.

Edited to add:

The EU has published an offical consolidated version of the Treaties today. Admitedly, it is a day late.

    Thank you for two things.

First, for your kind endorsment of my work to inform the public; naturally, you are entitled to hold on to your opinions.

Second, since I checked the Official Journal this morning, I had other things to do, especially after chasing the consolidated treaties yesterday. Therefore, your blog post was where I saw that the 23 promised language versions had been published. In the haste to post the news, I forgot to credit you for the discovery, but I am grateful for the information.
