By way of a heads up, IE.com is looking to have an interview posted in the coming weeks with Cllr and Dail candidate for Dublin South Central, Labour’s Eric Byrne. The interview is ongoing so if there are any specific questions you want included leave them in the comments.
Our first FF respondent looks likely to be Damien Blake in the near future. Again questions in the comments.
Irish Election are pleased to announce our collection of Irish
For Damian. Does he think that Fianna Fail organising in the North would lead to the demise of the SDLP.
For Eric Byrne. Which would be the least palatable serving in a FG/Lab/Green/PD coalition or FF/Lab coalition.
Rephrase them as needed I guess.
Eric Byrne is a survivor of a close count and contested election result. I wonder how he feels about the principle of electronic voting (not interested in his views on the particular machines we bought). Would he favour retaining the traditional paper ballot and manual count?
The councillor has been a public representative since 1985. Does he think local government has served or failed the needs of the state as a whole over that time?
(Examples: Electoral Roll, Planning and Development, public housing, waste policy.)
And why?
