Fine Gael will not go into power with the PD’s

So Enda does not want to go into coalition with the Progressive Democrats. Anyone surprised by this.

As has been said much of the battle for Fine Gael is to take back some of the Fine Gael seats that the PD’s took off them in 2002. Now although it is unlikely a PD Fine Gael coalition is not beyond the bounds of possibility. Indeed there is many in Fine Gael wishing Michael McDowell had never left the party. I have to wonder is this an attempt to gain back this PD vote by dismissing the possibility that voters could get both the PD’s and Fine Gael in the same government. Also it might be an attempt to attract some of the anti-PD vote to Fine Gael. I do think however it still is a possibility.
