Cllr Pat Fitzgerald, Dont Let your Kids Post Your Youtubes

This was so good over at irishelection.tv, it gave us rule number 3. Never let your young ones post your videos to you tube.

To be fair, for a bebo site, Pat Fitzgerald’s isn’t half bad. The FF green is just about handle-able. The picture of Dick Roche encroaches on the eye no matter where you are on the page but it cannot be helped (necessary deference to the incumbent and all). And, most interstingly to irishelection.tv, he has a flashbox.

Quite a video, I think you will agree. The soundtrack is hugely ambitious, I mean Chariots of Fire is a classic. This is not.Pat is struggling to overcome a huge challenge. He needs a great deal more life in his videos. And he wants to be the Dail’s first ever Arklow TD.

This one is bookmarked for further updates. I quite like the style, its direct, honest and to the point. Pat is keeping us in frame, talking to us and learning solid lessons about his message. It is very long and the stuff on his kids does sound a little forced. Well done on such achievers Pat, I mean it, but it draws the video on too long. You gotta hit short, sharp and hard.

It feels like a checklist is being completed on this one. The kids bit is nice, touching but overall not very necessary. People wont watch this for long. Make it count next time. Get stuck into Nicky Kelly. Tell us all why Arklow deserves the Gardai that Moyross doesnt get or something dramatic.
