Might be better than printing flyers, it goes to show how parties, if they take it seriously, need to keep ahead of the wave - not just follow.
This issue is getting very little play outside the tabloid Sunday Indo. There seems to be little or no evidence of this and I think people are running from it because they realise it is a lible lawsuite waiting to happen. It’s a new low for the indo and they have been setting new lows in Irish journalism almost weekly.
Personally I would take this “satire” down unless you can stand over what so far appears to be the delusions of a mentally unstable individual.
I think there is a story there somewhere and I do think that some answers will clear the whole story up and personally I don’t think that Garda Fallon was in any way a mentally unstable individual. I think the cartoon fits nicely into the satire category and sure I’d love to say it was libel but it ain’t because I haven’t actually said anything in the cartoon that could be construed as libel.
I quite like it, its funny and to be fair starting to slime the Driver as mentally unstable is a bit rich. He managed to pass all required tests to drive a ministerial merc. Not just any ol plod gets that. Its those who are up to the job.
Braz has a point, if its no story, the Tribunal will decide an a few swift answers will clear it up. If bertie reacts as usual the feeding frenzy gets up and he waits too long.
