Mary Fitzpatrick starts a personalised campaign

A bus shelter inside the borders of Dublin Central now displays a poster with a head-shot of FF Councillor Mary Fitzpatrick, with a message asking all to vote number one for her. Hmm, has the election been called yet?
What’s most interesting about the poster is what’s not there.
There is no mention whatsoever of any other Fianna Fail candidates who might be on the ballot paper. I expected to read a small print footnote urging the voter to continue their preference votes for other FF candidates. But there is none.
I’m old enough to remember the days when a FF election poster displayed the names of all the candidates, in alphabetical order, urging you to vote in order of your choice.
So I wonder what does Bertie Ahern think of his running mate “going solo”, so to speak?
Or maybe this is part of a deliberate Fianna Fail strategy of dividing the constituency, for campaigning purposes, to try and maximise the party vote?
