Fianna Failler teases little kids

Read more about: Education, Fianna Fail, Limerick West, Munster

While our Limerick East Fianna Faillers spent last week calling each other names through the local media, one Limerick West Fianna Fail election candidate thought he was do a little childish behaviour of his own, by teasing some young children.

Niall Collins was probably hoping people would remember his name come election time when he sent his congratulations in a letter to Carraigkerry National School on securing funding for two new classrooms for their school.

Alas, it turned out that there was no such funding being allocated to the school. Mr. Collins had to apologise to the kids and their teachers for his faux pas.

This would not be the first time that Fianna Fail have danced on the dreams of little children in west Limerick. At the end of May of last year, a collection for children’s community games in Knocklong had to be abandoned after Fianna Fail activists mounted an illegal church gate collection outside the local church.

The community games group had a permit to collect on that date, however Fianna Fail were the ones to collect the €500.
