With some politicians doing the votetube thing. Ciaran Cuffe is by far the most innovative. Here is a video diary of him showing how to travel low carbon to Paris. In only 12 hours. (When you think of the time of a flight say 2 hours, 2 hours waiting in airport and say 2 hours getting baggage and transfers from airport to city centre. It would be about twice as long (probably more expensive as well). But you do get to make a political point. By the way for all the politicians and councillors trips abroad. This is probably more then we know about their trips abroad. And this was his holidays.

Yet another example environmental bullshit from the Greens.
I presume you mean that shipping accounts for twice the carbon emissions of aviation, globally, mostly because it carries so much of the world’s freight. Cuffe’s individual trip is almost certainly a lower carbon option than flying the same distance.
I note that somebody else (possibly yourself?) has thrown that “ships more polluting than airliners” thing at Ciarán on the YouTube page, and Ciarán has responded.
