New Progressive Democrat Leader In Situ by April 16

Read more about: Progressive Democrats, Taxation

The Progressive Democrat’s new leader should be in office in little under two months time, at present it looks like Cannon and O’Malley but there may well be one or more additional figures to go forward. Nominations for the post will close on March 5.

Edit: To add the procedure for voting will be a postal ballot, the PDs operate a college system (unless they are chaging that too) which weights votes 40% to parliamentary party, 30% to to councillors votes and 30% to members.

I am not sure if the 40% includes party executives too, I will try to find out - if not then 4 votes out of around 3,000 or so will count for 40% of the final ballot.
